Verge AI (“we,” “us”) is an AI strategy consulting practice based in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it. It covers both people who contact us through this website and businesses we reach out to directly.

We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information you give us directly

When you book a call, fill out a quiz or assessment, join a waitlist, or email us, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, business name, and details about your business and goals. We use this only to respond to you, deliver what you asked for, and follow up about working together.

Information we use for business outreach

Verge AI sometimes contacts business owners and decision-makers directly to introduce our services. When we do, we may collect and store a limited business profile drawn from publicly available sources— for example, a business name, a publicly listed business email address, an owner or manager’s name, the business website, public reviews, and public social media activity.

We collect this information only where it is conspicuously published and not accompanied by a statement that unsolicited messages are not welcome, and our message relates to the recipient’s business role. This is the basis on which we send commercial messages under CASL. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not use paid data-enrichment or scraping services to obtain private contact details.

Every outreach email identifies Verge AI and includes a clear way to opt out. If you ask us to stop, we will — and we will remove your information as described below.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to. For outreach prospects who do not respond, we delete the stored business profile and any materials we prepared within 90 days. If you become a client or an active conversation, we keep what we need for that relationship and for as long as the law requires, then delete it.

How we protect and share it

We store information in reputable business tools (such as our email, calendar, and customer-records systems) protected by access controls. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed to do so.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of any outreach at any time. To make any of these requests, email us at the address below and we will act on it promptly.
